  1. This is really good stuff. I’m applying this to most of my post on my blog. Do you have any idea on how to handle this for the feature images (in wordpress) and the pin it button that comes with jet pack. For these I would like to use the same alternate picture and pin id

    1. Hi Maarten, I’m not sure its something you can do with jetpack, you could disable Jetpack Tags and use either Yoast or All In One SEO plugins that support rich pins if I recall correctly.

      1. My bad, actually I’m using Yoast. The problem is that with normal images inside the post you can add the parameters for data-pin-url, data-pin-description as they are part of the post’s html. with feature images you really have nowhere to add these parameters as the feature image is hidden. Anyways I was hoping you may have know of some plugin allows additional capture of parameters on the
